CUIAS Immigrant Services invites you to a free online webinar, “Migration Stress and Wellness,” taking place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM Toronto time via Zoom.
Migration and adapting to a new life can bring many changes and challenges. During this webinar, we will explore how migration and the settlement process can affect our emotional well-being and discuss practical ways to cope with common challenges.
We will discuss migration and settlement stress, common emotional challenges before, during, and after migration, and the process of adjusting to a new country, culture, and environment. We will also explore ways to manage stress, uncertainty, and feelings of isolation.
Participants will learn how to recognize signs that stress may be affecting their well-being and explore practical strategies for supporting emotional wellness. We will also discuss building resilience and identifying personal strengths that can help during periods of change and adjustment.
