Labour Day is a Canadian holiday that recognizes the contributions and achievements of workers.
The holiday has its roots in the labour movement and efforts to improve working conditions, including fair wages, reasonable working hours, and workers’ rights.
Today, Labour Day is also a chance to appreciate the work people do every day to support their families, communities, and Canada.
